I think I have always understood myself as two things: a writer and a wannabe architect. I am enamored by books and buildings, cities and words. I love juxtaposed places and people. Most days, I am in search of the mystery that is the Creator, trying to configure a life that is interesting enough to write about and live within.
Some days I am a cynic, other days I am overcome by hope. I am fascinated by what’s emerging in the world and what it means to live a life of faith, hope and love within new questions and possibilities. I fall in love with places easily but challenge ideas readily. I value history because I like stories. I believe that story ultimately holds the power of transformation.
